Your Linux Desktop Theme...   11-12>|

I made this thread for everyone to show off you favorite theme, and to add links to where others can download them.

Well, StumbleUpon is all about photos, so lets see some screenshots.

Personally, what I love about using Linux is how easy it is to customize your computer. I have been writing these gtkrc themes that work well with Firefox/Thunderbird and everything else. They are written for the engines-xfce theme engine. I also use a bit of Firefox userChrome.css to fix the tab-bar so the gradient matches.

The Emerald window theme is also my own original theme using the tru glass theme engine.

These are from my original theme called: Xfce-rusty_milk_new

Ha Ha Ha, "Show Off", I like the name. Hey, if you're proud of it, post it.

As for website design, there are some nice examples at oswd.org [oswd.org]

About a year ago, I learned how to make my own simple web page from downloading a few examples from oswd.org [oswd.org] and then re-writing them to fit what I wanted my site to look like. It's sort of the same way that I taught myself how to write a theme for Xfce. I just studied a theme and the way it was written, and then modified the easy things like the colors, and then tried somethings in different ways that weren't in any other theme I had seen. And they worked out perfectly.

Anyway, Linux desktop threads are always cool to look at, and StumbleUpon being a social networking site based upon photos, seemed to need a Desktop theme thread.

And I might as well show off my more recent three:

...and if you liked my other theme, I have updated it:

and the link to download is here: xfce-look.org/content/show.php/Xfce-milk [xfce-look.org/content/show.php/Xfce-milk]

...and Mr.Showoff's newest theme:

I'm kinda cheating 'cause it isn't a linux box, But this is Baghira+Ksmoothdock to look like OSX on a NetBSD Box.
